Professional and community activities
Deb has been a resident of Champaign County for more than 35 years and has been active in local politics for more than 15 years. She was an elected member of the Champaign County Board for 14 years, serving four years as its Vice Chairman. Deb is also a former candidate for State Representative for the 103rd District.
Deb was elected as an At-Large member to the Champaign City Council in 2007 and communicates with her constituency through a blog.
Currently, Deb is serving on the Champaign Unit #4 School District Visioning Committee.
